Lunch first day on Anthem

Recommended Posts

Which lunch venue is closest to boarding on Anthem?  My husband is renting a scooter which we wont have until we get our room.  I would like to minimize walking once we get on board. Don't mind paying extra.  Or can someone recommend a not too crowed area to sit and people watch -- I don't mind getting food and brining it to him if that is easier.

Also, we called ahead to get a wheelchair for boarding - airlines are 50/50 on whether this actually happens.  Any idea whether RC actually follows through?

Thanks!

You board the Anthem on deck 5 across from the Shore Excursion desk.

When you board hang a left toward the aft of the ship- plenty of seating areas in The Via area on the deck plan outside Jamie's.  Eat in Jamies or just pick a seat for your husband in The Via area and walk back to Cafe 270 for a quick lunch that you can bring back to your husband.

If you rented a scooter from special needs at Sea they have a new option. Instead of leaving your scooter in your room they tell u to call them and they will bring it to you curbside. I was surprised by the change last time I rented one. Same thing when leaving.
