rondl1 Posted May 8, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 8, 2019 First time in a long time that we have cruised RCL. If I use gift cards and load them as OBC, can I use them in the casino at the Slots for betting?
Clarea Posted May 8, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 8, 2019 Some ships allow you to use your SeaPass card to play slots. This would charge your onboard account. If you have OBC at the end of the cruise, it would be applied to your outstanding balance. There's no way to designate specific OBC to be used for a specific expense. So if I add gift cards as OBC and I charge my room from the slots, then it like charging the room and it will come off the OBC?

All OBC will be used to reduce all your charges at the end of the cruise.
PghSunny Posted May 8, 2019 #5 Share Posted May 8, 2019 I read somewhere that gift cards could only be used for new reservations on Royal. Maybe double check the terms before you buy them. I've used them on Carnival as on board credit, shore excursions, etc but I didn't think I could on Royal.
