Am I Overthinking a Potential Privacy/Security Concern?

Many folks put their HOME address on their luggage tags...WRONG!  Always put your business address.  If something needs to be sent to you, the business is open during "delivery hours" and folks won't know where you live.

As another poster said, "what if you are retired?  What if you don't own the business (as you do)?.  I am pretty sure the public schools where I worked would not appreciate my lost suitcases showing up at the door in this day and age of ultra-high security.

My advice would be (if you don't want to put your home address down), then just put your phone number and let the cruise line contact you and then arrangements can be made.  There are probably drawbacks to this as well, but as a poster above said I can't be paranoid about every little detail of my life.
