How can I catch a freighter from the US to Jamaica?

I don't want to fly so I'm trying to find a freighter but I don't know where to start anyone know how to? Or know of any companies I can get in touch with?

Suggesting checking out the thread I provided the above link. In one of my posts I included 3 companies that list cargo ship voyages. Not sure if any do US to Jamaica, but it will be a start.

Another thing to consider is that most of these freighters will sell only specified length voyages, say from the US gulf coast to Europe, and if it stops in Jamaica, you can get off there, but you will pay for the entire trip to Europe.  There are not a lot out there to begin with, and Jamaica is not a major stop.
