treehugr Posted May 10, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 10, 2019 For those who have been following the drydock schedule, refresh my memory, the Equinox was to leave for Spain on the 4th and arrive on the 11th or 12th? Pulled up her current position which reflects an arrival date of the 13th? Already behind schedule, run into bad weather? On that time able, that leaves 8-9 days for drydock? We're sailing on the June 1st sailing, so we have a vested interest on if she'll be back in time.
mikkelhansen Posted May 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 11, 2019 The ETA in Cadiz seems to span over a couple of hours, depending on which tracking site you use. However, currently the last position update is about 10 hours old on all websites, which makes sense, since the ship ins not near any land (satellite live tracking is expensive). It passed the Azores some hours ago, which is where the last position was tracked. The ship left Miami on May 5 at around 1am, so the delay may have occurred already at departure from Miami. Thanks for the update Mikkel...looks like the delay was departing. Not refurb is really no concern for us...just want the ship in port come 6/1.
