Werangels Posted May 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted May 16, 2019 Are there any rules regarding the type of shoes you must wear if using the tender? Thanks.
Rare uktog Posted May 16, 2019 #2 Share Posted May 16, 2019 There are no rules however common sense prevails. You can have open toed shoes. The more important thing is listen to what the sailors are telling you and if it is moving a bit wait until they say go now.

A good point regarding listening and doing as you are told. I have no problem with how to manoeuvre as we’ve owned a boat for years. We love being on the water in small boats! Covepointcruiser Posted May 17, 2019 #4 Share Posted May 17, 2019 Remember that you do have to walk down a steep set of stairs to get to the tender. I would say you should wear non slip, preferably flat shoes, so you don’t slip or fall down the steps.
