Tenders and shoes

There are no rules however common sense prevails.  You can have open toed shoes.  The more important thing is listen to what the sailors are telling you and if it is moving a bit wait until they say go now.

Thank you very much.  A good point regarding listening and doing as you are told.  I have no problem with how to manoeuvre as we’ve owned a boat for years.  We love being on the water in small boats!

Remember that you do have to walk down a steep set of stairs to get to the tender.   I would say you should wear non slip, preferably flat shoes, so you don’t slip or fall down the steps.
