Transportable scooter on Celebrity CCCabin

Need advice and hints from anyone who sailed on Celebrity CC class cabin Fit thru door?  Where to store in cabin?  Close to plug in to charge?  Need advice from someone who actually had and experience.  Thank yoy.

There is no clear answer to your question.  First, we need to know what class of ship you are asking about.  For instance, on M class, the beds are always by the bath, the foot is curved and you probably won't be able to get the scooter past the end of the bed to where the vanity is, with the plug to charge.  

 

 

 

You might also have problems getting past the TV cabinet/fridge at one corner, and the desk at the other corner.  This might not be as tricky if the beds were together.

 

Then we come to the S class ships.  Balcony cabins on S class alternate whether the bed is by the bath, or by the balcony.  If you choose a cabin with bed by the balcony you might have a chance:

And then there is the kicker:  All ships will be 'revolutionized' in the future - some already have been.  We don't know for sure what they are doing to the cabins.  So, things may change.  EM

Thank  for a great response.  We are on the Silhouette cabin 1207.  Hope the bed is by the balcony.  Judging by your photos I think will be alright as long as the power cord is long enough.  Waiting for response from the rental company. Unlike many others you have responded to the point rather than idle chat.

Unfortunately, 1207 will have the bed by the bath.  It is a quad cabin, and all cabins for more than two have the sofa bed and upper by the balcony.  EM

To Essiemom:  You have been very helpful but I made a mistake we are in cabin 2107 with bed by the bath.  Have you had any experience or advice.

From pics on cruisedeckplans, 2101 has bed by bath, 2111 has bed by balcony.  Based on that, your bed should be by the balcony.  EM

If your scooter is a small one ie the size of a pride Go Go you will not have a problem. Mine fit fine and did as I always do take the battery off the scooter to charge it.  Of course you have less room to move around, but you can always ask for the coffee table to be taken out ( it might fit in the wardrobe)  to give you more space.
