What to do in Rijeka and Zadar, Croatia?

We are on a Celebrity Cruise that stops in Rijeka, Croatia.   I can't find much information about that port.  Are there things to see or tours to take that are not ship tours?   What have you done in Rijeka?   How about Zadar, Croatia?   Again, are there things that should not be missed?

In Zadar you can visit the very beautiful Krka national park.It is approx. 1 hour by car away from the port.
