Hello Experts

Im in cabin 16001 which Yacht Club Aft deck 16. On the deck map that cabins deck looks slightly larger than starboard and port balconies.

Does anyone know that is so or just the how they made the deck map look?

MSC customer service do not know.

Thanks

Brenda

The forward facing YC cabins on Fastasia class ships do have large balconies.  I also believe the cabins are slightly longer.  The balcony has an angled front with a metal lower section and railing that makes usable space not the entire surface area.  There is also a bit more wind even though a large part of the viewing area is glass enclosed.  Here's a link to a similar cabin:

First off, 16001 and the entire Yacht Club cabin selection are not Aft, they're forward, near the Bow. :classic_biggrin:

That said, we were on the sister ship Presiosa recently in 16004.

I think the cabin is probably a bit 'longer' but nearly the same size as other YC cabins.

The balcony is larger, but as the other comment says, it is a different configuration, with metal and glass shields to block the wind, and not all of that space is directly useable.

The YouTube video offers a few glimpses of the balcony.

A fine cabin, and not nearly as windy as I had been dreading.

Oh so sorry Gary,

i judge the cabins location by the usual aft shape. I actually had to check to make sure I was wrong. Ha ha

So you haven’t been on the Divina or been in the cabin but been on the sister ship?

I guess we are both are making assumptions. Ha ha

Anyone else seen cabin 16001 on the Divina can compare to side Yacht Club balconies?

This is our honeymoon cabin and I’m trying to make sure my husband to be has a nice balcony.  He has a very stressful work and he loves sitting out there distressing.

He is trying to make all our dreams come true.

He might bother those adjacent to you in 16003 and 16002 if he was "distressing."  If he was merely destressing, he may not bother others! 😉

I've not been in that cabin, but there was an extensive thread on that cabin back in 2015:
