Cloud 9 Spa Suite or Grand Suite?

Hi All,

We haven't cruised on Carnival for a while, but will likely be joining some friends for a cruise on the Vista in April of next year.  I'm trying to figure out the difference between a Cloud 9 Spa Suite and the Grand Suite.  Is it just size of the room?  Any insight would be helpful!!!

Thanks!

Kim

We had a Spa suite on the Breeze for our honeymoon. We loved it. We used the spa pass quite often and we enjoyed the spa decor of the room. It was a really nice treat, it's about the same size as an ocean suite if i recall.

I'm pretty sure the spa balcony rooms are the same size of the regular balcony rooms . Were staying in a spa balcony on our upcoming Breeze cruise.

But the OP asked about the Cloud 9 Spa suite, not a balcony.

Cloud 9 has unlimited access to spa areas (sauna, thelasotherapy (sp) pool and discounts on services) GS is a great room definitely larger. It all depends on what you want

Unfortunately the Vista does not have a Thalassotherapy Pool, just a private for pass holders hot tub in the tile loungers seating area. Vista class ships also have a  different setup for the thermal suites, instead of interconnecting rooms or being next door to each other they are spread out off a central hub, the heated loungers and hot tub area, with either the rainforest showers or towel station being in between each. The type of seating is also different in the sauna and steam rooms being more like tiled benches and except for the central hub & 1 steam room all other areas lack windows.

Thank you all.  We decided to go with the Cloud 9 Spa Suite.  It looked like both were nice rooms, but I didn't see a big reason for paying quite a bit for just a little more space and access to the Havana Pool (which our friends couldn't access anyway).
