Cabin Swap?

Having booked a cruise on Koningsdam, I set about reading reviews. Find that there are a few negative comments re noise from BB King venue up to deck 4, which is 2 decks above BB Kings. What are my chances of getting a swap to another available cabin?

We did it once with just a quick phone call.  It's easiest when no money is involved, just a switch to a cabin of the same class and step level.

Before the cruise -- you have a chance to get another cabin.

 

But once on the ship -- there may be no more cabins in the same category.

I recently got to swap my guarantee assignment for another cabin so it happens. 

I’ve also sailed on deck 4 of the Koningsdam and can confirm you can hear some of the music albeit very muffled. I didn’t mind because 1.  I’d been given a huge upgrade from inside to verandah ( didn’t feel I could justify complaining) and 2. Most nights I’d be dancing away with the band anyway

Update.

 

As suggested by catl331, quick phone call and cabin swapped with no charge. Hopefully to a more peaceful location!
