Pool Grill-Included Drinks

If having a late lunch in the Pool Grill after an excursion, what time do the included drinks stop.  The Pool Grill is open to 5.00pm but what time is the cut-off for included soft drinks or beer.

On the Northern lights cruise we got back around 11.15 one night, hot food, wine and beer etc available, nice way to end the evening, especially after a good sighting of the lights.

Have cruised on VO 3 times & often enjoyed lunch at the poolside grill. We found the cut off for included beverages was around 2pm-2:30pm even though food was still available. The Northern Lights cruise may have different hours for included beverage service due to the uniqueness of daylight hours.

Haworth - yours must have been a special situation (due to Northern lights excursions?).  We have been on 3 Viking Ocean Cruises and every one of them had the Pool Grill cut off free wine/beer drinks at roughly the time that the World Cafe closed for lunch.  This was normally about 2 to 2:30.   I learned this when having food at the Grill around 3:00 and the server came by and asked if I wanted a beer.  I said yes please and he asked my room number - then explained that Viking's policy is that after the WC closes all free drinks are now to be paid for.

The same situation exists for Mamsen's we found.
