I've never had a price drop on my 7 cruises.  I would take it.

We had the same thing on the Spirit in April. Dubai to South Africa in 2020 had opened at $3,000 and was up to $6,000. So they were pushing the same cruise on Dawn for 2021 at opening price of $3,000, so we booked that one. If the 2020 one comes down after final payment we'll do that one and cancel  the Dawn.

 

We have often got the 25% obc after final payment when there is a price drop. But be aware it is Non-Refundable obc, so use it or lose it. As some have said, they don't have to give you anything after final.
