Is this Really an Upgrade?

Just received an email from Carnival offering us an upgrade for just $32 to upgrade to an inside room on the Empress Deck at the very back of the deck.  The  cabin has twin beds that do not convert to a king.  We have a cabin on the Rivera deck.  It is a porthole, so we can see outside and the beds do make into a king.  The Interior on Empress is showing a price of only $20 more than what we paid for our porthole, but they wanted to change us $32 to upgrade.  Guess what, we turned it down.
