Rhapsody and motion sickness Question

Recommended Posts

We are thinking about going on Rhapsody of the Seas November 23rd on a itinerary out of Tampa.  Two in our party have never been on a ship this size.  They have sailed on Adventure of the Seas or a bigger ship (Allure)  on an Eastern Cruise or Southern Cruise.  They tend to get very mild motion sickness in that they may not feel good one evening and need to take it easy and possibly take some medication.  Does Rhapsody of the seas have more motion due to its smaller size?  Would sailing in the Gulf of Mexico tend to make a difference?  (Smoother)

Thanks so much,

Linda

Rhapsody would likely have more motion than Oasis class ships.     Conditions change, one day it might be like glass, the next day there's moderate motion.  No way to predict motion in advance.
