Hotels In Vancouver

We are staying in Vancouver prior to our cruise for 4 nights and would like recommendations for a hotel or B&B. The prices seem very high this of the year. Also, which is the best location to stay. I am thinking Downtown?  Thank you in advance.

That said, Vancouver is a very expensive city, so don’t expect any bargains.
