1city@atime Posted July 27, 2019 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2019 Looking for info on how to easily get to Peggy's Cove. We are a party of 4, do we have to pre-book a tour or will there be tour vendors at the port?
Ashland Posted July 27, 2019 #2 Share Posted July 27, 2019 (edited) You'll see so much more if you book a tour...One of the best private group tour companies is: Halifax Titanic Historical Tours with Paul McNeill......His tours book up fast ...Just amazing !!!! maryann ns Posted July 28, 2019 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2019 You will find taxis at a fixed rate per hour at the dock but renting a car would likely be less expensive. Check out this document which outlines options for Halifax.
Marie.A Posted August 2, 2019 #4 Share Posted August 2, 2019 Hi, Did you consider to rent a car? Last October, we rent a car in Halifax to visit Peggy’s Cove. The car rental was only 10 minutes from the port (walking distance). It was the cheaper and more convenient option for us. Moreover, the drive is easy. You will enjoy the scenic route and be free to stop anytime for pictures. If you're interested I wrote articles to describe my DIY day trip. For Peggy’s cove: http://daydreamunderthestars.com/2019/06/22/peggys-cove-a-life-on-the-rocks For Halifax: http://daydreamunderthestars.com/2019/06/09/a-perfect-day-in-halifax-nova-scotia Let me know if you have any questions Enjoy your cruise!
