The Beach

If surf and sand are in your plans, visit our 4.5 acres of soft, pristine, sandy beach designated for Jetty Park guests. On the beach you are protected with lifeguards on duty all year round.  You won't even have to bother with dragging along those cumbersome chairs and umbrellas. Jetty Park has a vendor located on the beach where everything can be rented including chairs, umbrellas, kayaks, paddle boards, boogie boards, etc. Outdoor showers located on the boardwalks are always a welcome sight after a long day on the beach.  Our beaches have state of the art beach cleaning equipment to keep them in pristine condition for your enjoyment.

but know that the beach is 'unbroken' from here for over 30 miles ... to Sebastian inlet .. if you'd like a long walk . . .

I am a huge Jetty Park Beach fan but at this time the beach is very smelly at times due to kelp, seagrass and perhaps even residue from nearby dredging. They do not clean the beaches because of sea turtle season.

Right now I would head down to Cocoa Beach Pier and swim there. It is a short $10 or so Uber ride. You have several restaurants/bar to choose from and beach rental options.

Or, go down to "downtown" Cocoa Beach on Minuteman Causeway.  Coconuts on the Beach there does beach rentals.  And, you can get bar and food service from Coconuts.  Before you head back to the ship, walk 2 blocks to The Fat Donkey and get some fabulous ice cream!!!
