I am a travel agent and have used GoPort for several of my clients. Everyone has loved it.

I am using it for my cruise in March 2020.

I checked the rates for the hotel and then what the transfers would cost, and it ended up being a better deal to go with the package.

If GoPort offers a better deal when comparing apples to apples then go for it!

In my research they are not always the cheapest option.

Therefor comparing rates as you did remains a good idea!

I booked this for 2 people later this month -

Direct:

$73.68  Fairfield Inn (Hotwire opaque pricing but you could figure out the choice) ($60 plus $13.68 tax)

$80 Cortrans Shuttle ($40 per person roundtrip)

$153.68 total

$190.13 Go Port price for Fairfield Inn - $169 plus $21.13 tax

Saved $36.45 booking myself and get to use the smaller shuttle from Cortrans I prefer vs the big GoPort busses

Added bonus - Fairfield Inn has free shuttle pickup from MCO, offers free breakfast and is in walking distance of the mini mart to but wine and soft drinks for the cruise

$152 Go Port price for Holiday Inn (tax included and shuttle picks up at the hotel).  I can book La Quinta inn for $111 + $40 for a shuttle pickup at the hotel (Cortrans) or $30 for a shuttle pickup from the airport (go port).  so, either $141 or $151.  It's pretty close either way, but La Quinta offers free breakfast so I think I'm going to go with that one and get picked up from the hotel.  They do offer a free shuttle back to the airport, but it's not worth the hassle to save 10 bucks
