Kilim Karst Geoforest Park Tours in Langkawi

We have one day in port in January and are keen to do the Cable Car. However, if the top of the mountain is in cloud our backup plan is to do a short (1-2 hour) river cruise in the Kilim Karst Geoforest Park. I understand that we can show up to the Kilim Jetty and get a non-guided tour but is it possible to book a guided tour from the jetty? Or, will there be tour operators at the port that we could book a guided tour with when we disembark? Because this will be our backup plan we don't want to go booking anything ahead of time.

We did this some years ago on our own ie not part of a tour. The river boat operators act as guides and pointed out all sorts of interesting stuff to us. It was really worth doing. Just beautiful.

I did this some years back.  We booked in advance.  But the place doesn't look to be crowded, so you should be able to book a boat when you arrive.
