Lincoln Center Stage on Nieuw Statendam

I will be sailing on the Nieuw Statendam soon and was wondering how the new arrangement for Lincoln Center Stage is in the Queen's Lounge on this ship rather than the dedicated space on the Koningsdam.  It would seem to be a much less intimate.  Do they set up chairs theater style?  Is it now a quartet rather than a quintet?  I read that somewhere and I was wondering if that was an error.  Hope so!  Needless to say, for me this is one of the highlights of my cruise.

When we went in March, LCS was awesome (well, except when you went into the smoky casino)!

LCS / BB King shared a very nicely laid out venue. There was seating set up on the dance floor for the LCS performances in addition to the sides, back and balcony (left, right and back). When BB King played, the dance floor was VERY active. Both sets of performances were highlights of our cruise, and I hope/imagine it will be for you as well. Occasionally there was noise from someone walking by or coming out of the shops, but not often.

Looking at the deck plans it is in the identical space as the Koningsdam. Perhaps you were looking at Nieuw Amsterdam?

Thank you for clearing it up for me.  We have been on the Koningsdam twice and Lincoln Center had a dedicated space across from Billboard Onboard so hearing it was moved on the NSDAM,  its new locale gave me pause.  It is my favorite part of any HAL cruise and knowing that there is theater style seating is wonderful.

I believe the OP had cruised on the Koningsdam prior to last December when the LCS used to be located where the Rock Room is now. The Queen's Lounge is a much better place for the performances - with more space for guests. Both ships now have this new configuration.

Yes, you are correct!  It was in 2018 and in 2017.

That's good to know as we will be cruising on the NS next summer.
