best way to transfer from a hotel in Santiago to port of san antonio chile

Planning a trip to South America. Will be landing in Santiago, Chile Any recommendations for hotel and transfer to Port of San Antonio. Best and most economical.

I like the word "economical".  A person after my own heart.  We stayed at the Ibis Estacion Central.  It is not a luxury hotel, but it is modern, clean, and comfortable.  I'm pretty picky, but was very satisfied with this place.  It is right next to the downtown bus terminal (Alameda) and a block from a metro station.  You can catch a bus from the airport to the Alameda terminal for only a few bucks, and a bus from Alameda to San Antonio for around $10 IIRC.  The bus to San Antonio is a modern motor coach.  Check out TurBus or Pullman for more info.
