I am getting so frustrated trying to renew our global entry.   I want to renew my husband, son and my cards.   We all received an email saying they are coming due in a few months.   I click on the site and they ask for my email address and password.   I have a notebook with all the passwords, etc listed.  None of our passwords will work.  I reset the passwords and they still will not work... I try to create a new  login.gov account but when I put in any of our email addresses, it says "that email is already being used!!!   Under contact, I sent an email early this am but no one has contacted me by email or phone.

This is so frustrating!!!!

Anyone have this experience, and if so, what did you have to do.      Thanks so much.

You will no longer be able to use your GOES User ID and password to sign in. Please create a new login.gov account. You will be able to link this new account with your old GOES account by providing your PASSID. If you have trouble with your PASSID, please contact CBP directly: https://help.cbp.gov/app/ask. No credit card or payment will be required.

To register a new account:

  1. Please visit https://ttp.cbp.dhs.gov/
  2. If you are a new user, select “Get Started” in the middle of the page. If you are a returning user, select “LOG IN” on the upper right hand corner.
  3. Select “Consent & Continue”
  4. Select “Create an account”
  5. Enter your email address: this is your new username going forward
  6. Wait for an email confirmation and follow the instructions in the email
  7. Continue with the account creation process as described here: https://login.gov/help/creating-an-account/how-do-i-create-an-account-with-logingov/
  8. You should now see a page that looks like this:
    Login.gov created account page
  9. Select “Continue” to go back to the Trusted Traveler Programs website
  10. You should now see a page that looks like this:
    Trusted traveler account profile

Back in 2017, they changed their server situation such that you had to reconfigure your account (including secondary authorization preference) to continue gaining access. As part of that process you should've received a personal key (four sets of four random characters, each set separated by a hyphen) to get you in if you're having trouble.

i just tried getting in and had no problem (did have to enter a texted code, which is how I chose to do secondary authorization).

As a test, try your email/password combo to sign in at login.gov. At least, that will tell you if your info is good. Then, go back to the ttp site and use "login" (not new account) to get to your stuff.

Of course, if you didn't jump the reconfigure hoops when it all changed, you may have some problems.

Call the DHS help line for further assistance. You can't call the trusted traveler program.
