Sensation Aug 17-22

Not a frequently discussed ship on these boards. We sailed on her in 2016. We cruise about twice a year, mostly Carnival. My thoughts:

• Older ship definitely showing her age
• Service was top notch
• Food was good. MDR accommodated DH special requests.
• Even though I'm a fan of Fantasy class ships, I found myself constantly confused and lost on the layout.
• No hairdryer in cabin. Stewart was able to bring a handheld.
• Alchemy Bar was fantastic. Never crowded as on other ships. We had after dinner drinks each night and really enjoyed the bartenders, who after the first day remembered us...made us special drinks off menu.
• ATM kiosk would not accept gift cards. Very frustrating to wait in line at Customer Service.
• Overall a nice short cruise. I would book again.

We're on Sensation as well in a couple of weeks.  Looking forward to our first cruise.
