You should be able to drop it earlier that that John: 10:30am is the late end of the official timeframe (10am is the early end). However even though it's a three ship day they're all small with a total pax load of only ~4000, and 10:30am is to cover how busy the pier gets on the worst days when there are over 10,000 embarking pax. You could probably show up at 9:30am and be able to drop your bags if you're trying to maximise time in port sightseeing before boarding.

 

If you want to drop bags and immediately embark though, I'd agree that 10:30am is the most sensible time - it'll minimise how long you wait around before anything starts to happen, but still have you among the first batch of folks so the queues should move fast once they begin moving.
