Which nights will be formal nights?

Hi All,

Does anyone have a best guess as to when the formal nights will be on a 14 night cruise on Majestic out of Sydney? I have seen this discussed before but can't find the thread via search.

It always helps to post the itinerary.  Usually the second night out is a formal night (Captain's Welcome Aboard event).  Especially if a sea day.  Never on embarkation night.  This is why itinerary helps.  Even though good guesses can be made, they may make a change.  Best bet is if someone is very recently off exact cruise if possible.

 

In general, they pick sea days where possible.  Another candidate is a port day where all aboard is earlier in afternoon.  Never on a late port day.  Another is likely to be your second last night out.  Never the last night.  Again, depends on port days and sea days - so could be 3rd last night.  You other one is in the middle somewhere.

I would say definitely the 19th for the first one (your second night out and first sea day).

Agree with 30th for the last one.

 

The middle one will be 23rd or 28th.  I'd bet a whole dollar on the 23rd simply because it is more in the middle of the other two, whereas the 28th is only two nights before the last one.  All of your port days are poor candidates when they have perfectly good sea days to use.
