On European Carnival cruises there are very few families and kids and yes, many regular Carnival customers. The atmosphere is much differen than those in the Caribbean- I like both experiences, they are just different from each other. screamingreen Posted September 17, 2019 #27 Share Posted September 17, 2019 Carnival hasn't sailed the British Isles since 2006. We were going to book a 2007 British Isles thru Carnival, but they cancelled them all. We ended sailing Princess instead. Last year, we were on the inaugural Horizon Mediterranean cruise. Everything was perfect! Whatever cruise line you pick, make sure you check Fly2Fun (Carnival), EZ air (Princess) etc. as the rates were definitely better than what I could book, plus, you have their guarantee to get you there. It seems like the ships Carnival are redoing in Europe are only doing the Mediterranean.
