Free art from art auction

Should be your decision if you want to risk damaging your “free” art.  It would be interesting to see what happens if you show up with your own tube, would love to hear the excuse they use to force the $40 tube on you.  

I am wondering if it would worth bringing my own tube. But if the excuse is that the art is not on the ship then the tube won't help. Perhaps some lines claim the fee is for the tube while others say it's for shipping.

I have a good pile of the "free art" from our cruise completed last weekend without actually ever attending an auction. These were the 8x10's given out for guessing the weight of this piece or that in the "I'm attending ... Art Auction" envelope along with raffle ticket offers . Thought about attending an auction but they were too long and interfered with other activities that I'd rather do. Some of the pieces are nice - might give one away or hang one, but most will probably live in the files along with the dailies and other NCL ephemera.
