Petronillus Posted October 2, 2019 #1 Share Posted October 2, 2019 DW & I and 2 friends/neighbors who are new to ocean cruising have just booked connecting verandah cabins on the Oosterdam, for a 17-day Panama Canal cruise. My friend mentioned that Oosterdam has just recently been through drydock. DW & I sailed the Oosterdam 10 years ago. What updates/changes will we experience as a result of the drydock? Thanks! Qcruise Posted October 2, 2019 #2 Share Posted October 2, 2019 The Osterdam followed us last week on our cruise aboard the Star Princess and it looked good from the outside. That's all I've got......:)
Emu2302 Posted October 3, 2019 #3 Share Posted October 3, 2019 Just got off Oosterdam on Sunday. It seemed like a pretty basic ship to me. Your biggest changes from 10 years ago, from what I’ve gathered, is the update of the Crows Nest to the Explorations Central set-up. Perhaps redesign of the Atrium. New carpet, paint. Perhaps an update of the rooms.
