In Corfu there is a Ho-Ho by the ferry docks.  They have two routes that go to different parts of the island if you want to see more than just the old town.  We have done both, one each on two different port calls.  If you take the morning trip, you will have plenty of time to explore the old town afterwards.  There are two stops for Corfu town at the end of the tour.  You ticket will get you on the shuttle back to the port free.
