Cruise next use by date

If the certificates expire 12/20, is it okay if it expires during a cruise?

You need to have a cruise booked prior to the expiration date.

It is ok if it expires during the cruise.  The online terms and conditions say that you must BOOK and SAIL within 4 years of purchase of certificate.  Once the cruise begins then that ship has sailed!! so expiring during cruise would be ok.

Not a given but if the cruise you would like to take is within a few days after the expiration CALL NCL

and plead for an extension - more in likely it will be granted - immediate booking and payments possibly

required - NCL does not like to sail with empty cabins.

You can call NCL and have your cruise next certificates extended. However, they will only do this one time.
