Beach within walking distance of the port

I heard that there is a good beach in Fort de France near the cruise terminal, but I can not find information about it.

Can anybody help?

The nearest good beach is Lili's - Take a taxi as it's a long walk.

Agree it’s a beach (just).  
No loungers, no umbrellas, no toilet or shower facilities, no bar, no restaurant, maybe some dubious food vendors, known kids playground, can be packed with noisy locals, limited space.
Shall one go on?  

Take the Cab…..

One can say the same about the “beach” at Isle de Margarita.  Is it a beach or the end of a sewage overflow outfall?  One pays the money (or not) and makes the choice.
