Allure Messaging

Going on Allure of the Seas in January. I downloaded the RCCL app to play around with it and see the little message bubble in the top right. I've also read a few times that Allure has messaging between guests. It says that I can connect with other guests while "connected to ship Wi-Fi"> does that mean I need a VOOM package? Or are they referring to the free Wi-Fi that allows that app to work for scheduling and the calendar view?

You don't need a VOOM package for messaging via the RCI App on Allure.  Just connect to the WiFI network, no login needed.

 

For others, the RCI App supports "free" messaging only on Allure and Harmony at the present time.  RC has not publicly announced a deployment schedule for messaging to other ships.
