Newbie question about Visa Email from princess?

Princess sent me an email about obtaining a visa its a cruise from San Francisco to Hawaii to ensenda in 2020, I am from california myself is this just a reminder for those that need it?

 

I dont need a visa for state side travel or baja california last I checked.

 

It is just automated for those that do?

It is a automated response aimed primarily to guests that come in from outside of the U.S. and Canada.

Yes, auto reminder. Some passengers may have passports from countries where a visa would be required to enter Mexico.

You can also ignore the email that you'll get assigning you a boarding time. It's a suggestion only.

The only time it's mandatory is when the ship is required to do a deep clean for Noro or there's a Coast Guard or other gov't. type inspection. Otherwise, show up at the port anytime after 10 AM or so.
