Azamara equator-crossing shenanigans?

We're booked on the inaugural Mumbai to Cape Town voyage on Dec. 28 so I'm guessing (well not guessing - we WILL be) crossing the equator at some stage.  What have past AZ cruisers encountered to mark this momentous occasion, in particular for any equatorial virgins?

Azamara celebrate the equator crossing in fine style by with a lot of fish-kissing and officers being dunked in the pool. I’m not sure what the story is meant to be but here are some pictures from the crossing the equator ceremony on Pursuit in March, from Rio to Lisbon

Thanks for these - we’re setting off to Lisbon in a week to do the return Lisbon to Rio crossing, also on Pursuit, so we’ll look forward to seeing the crossing the equator activities.

It's good fun. I have to say that the fish on the Rio to Lisbon cruise was a bit pathetic looking. Trouble with supply in South America maybe. The one below is more like it!  Our Seychelles cruise.

We crossed on a Bali trip on AZ and it was a hoot.

We also have a picture from the Pursuit crossing in March this year. The captain can be seen on the right of the picture about to be led towards the pool. We all thought he was going to be thrown in but he managed to delegate this to one of his deputies! 

The whole event was very enjoyable and the pictures unfortunately don't reflect how much fun it was.
