it was 8 nights! yes from the northeast :) it definitely could be the demographic but i was just expecting more to be open late! there’s no nightclub or anything like that which is kind of what we were looking for!

if you want to be in all the action:

pre- get a good spot on the esplanade for midnight and the “ball” drop. also get a drink ahead of time because the lines were crazy in the nearby bars (they set up the middle-like where they’d have sales and stuff during the day-as an additional bar but it was still hectic!) 

post- if they do it again, the comedian in the theater was great! but after the show is over theres not much else to do...
