Island Princess/Panama Canal Excursions?

I posted this in Colombia forum but no replies. Wondering if anyone here has Princess-specific info.  

 

Trying to narrow down Cartanga excursions. Like history but I have bad feet so by that point on the trip, I am nervous about committing to walking all day. 

Family (son 12 & husband) wants to do the city tour with boat in the harbor. I'm debating whether to join them or do something else.  

Looking for reviews/recommendations from others who have done this cruise (or other Princess). There is one with cultral dancers, which I'd love but my family won't LOL.

 

Also:
* Safety if I chose to go on a different excursion by myself? (woman in 40s)

* and about this incline at the Fort? Does anyone have a picture of this? 

 

Also happy to take recs on others. 

For example, we'd love to do just the turtle sanctuary (to get more than the 40 minutes there) on Grand Cayman but haven't been able to find that option.

Not dangerous there on your own! I am a woman in my 60s. DH didn't feel well at that stop so I went off to the taxi stand and told them where I wanted to go;(fort and old town) and agreed on a price to take me and wait for me and then take me back to the ship. It was just fine. I was on the Coral.

BTW IF they offer the excursion to the Embera village in Panama take it!

I thought it was the most interesting cruise experience I have ever had!!
