Transportation to Tampa Port

Greetings everyone,  

 

This will be my first time cruising out of Tampa. I am flying in early same day and want to know how to get to port from Tampa airport. Is it fairly easy to get a shuttle service to the port or do I need to make a reservation with a service?  Thank you

Unless you are solo an Uber or Lyft or even a taxi is a better deal.  Taxi will run about $28 on the meter, while UberX or Lyft will be closer to $16+.  There is a shuttle set up at the airport - you just walk up, no reservations needed - but I think the fare is $12-14+ per person.  The ride to the port takes about 15+ minutes depending upon traffic.
