Guys Pig and Anchor

This venue was a specialty restaurant in the evenings although I do believe it was free if you went during lunch time.  They have the craft brewery there and there are tours you can buy I believe given by the brewmaster.  Pricing was quite reasonable I think for the 4 of us the total cost for supper was around 80 dollars US including drinks.  The Prime Rib was amazing and at least an inch thick.  My son and ex had the Ribs which they said was also good and my mother had the chicken.

Pixels

Pixels has been "reimagined" I guess you would put it as there is no more wall of photos you have to search through to find your particular photos.  There are tablets you can input your folio number into and you pictures are all there for you to browse and order if you so wish.  I did mention that with the App you can see all your pictures on your personal device as well so we never spent anytime at Pixels but we had to pass by on our way to dinner every evening so we could have if we wanted.  The nice thing about ordering your Pictures on your App is they can be purchased as a Digital download instead of printed.  Cost was 18.00 per picture without a USB stick or you could get a USB stick as well for 25.00 per picture.

Sea Days...

Sea Days were filled with activities offered sometimes overlapping so it was a lot of pick and choose which activity you wanted more sometimes.  Using the App again helped with reminders about what was coming up that you had tagged.  Emma was a fantastic Entertainment director and awesome choice on Carnivals part for this new Ship.  She kept everyone and everything hopping.  I spent a lot of time in the Casino as that's my activity of choice while on the Cruise ship.  It was the first time I ever earned the Drinks on Us card while playing although the bad thing about that was that they had cut back on servers so much that it took sometimes upwards of an hour or more(2) to order a drink.  I dont think they lost any revenue by giving me that card lol.  The one good thing was I scored a 5 card straight flush on 3 card Prime Poker towards the end of the cruise that paid off my Sail and Sign account  woohooo!!!.

Well folks I think that about wraps up my review of our 2019 Family Panorama Vacation.  Hope you enjoyed my first foray doing a review.  I know i always look forward to reading everyone's reviews posted on here every day that I log on.  Especially with pictures I know.  Next Cruise is in 93 days on the Glory out of NOLA with just me and the girlfriend.  St. Greg has me all stoked up to go after reading his last review on the Glory. Look forward to doing another review after that.  Hope she is all fixed up by then after her fender bender in Cozumel.  Saw the news release that said no cruises were being affected so that made me feel better after seeing the news while at sea that my next ship was dinged up lol.

Happy New "Cruising" Year to all of you!!

OMG I forgot about the Night Shows lol..

The first one I went to see was called Soul Bound and was awesome in my Opinion.  The costumes were spectacular as were the singing and dancing performances of all the cast members.  The only downside as some have mentioned is the Liquid Lounge venue does have some drawbacks seating and sound wise if your not early to get a good seat.  It does allow for more intimate experience and interaction with the Audience though as the performance is just as much in the seating area as it is on stage with the performers moving through it quite a lot.  The Sounds and lights can be overwhelming if you are seated dead center on the balcony.  There are columns all around the balcony edge too that are directly in your line of sight so many seats are useless unless your there to sleep lol.  The balcony seating does however off drink holders and small side tables whereas the main floor is just auditorium style chairs and you need to either hold your drink or hope you dont kick it over when you set it down on the floor.

The pictures below are of the Soul Bound Performance.

The second performance was called Celestial Strings and was it was a first time Live performance by the cast ever.  During the cruise one of the entertainment groups in the Lobby area was 3 violinists and they were spectacular.  The Celestial Strings show actually included them performing as part of the show.  It was brilliant in my mind as I did not expect the music group playing in the lobby all week long to actually be part of a Live Production show during the week.  Again costumes, music and storyline were amazing in my Opinion but you do have to like violin playing too lol.

Thank you so much for your great review!!

I was wondering if you happen to remember the table minimums in the casino. My husband is especially interested in craps, blackjack, three card poker ect.

Thanks so much!!

I was playing three card poker 5 dollar bets before I bumped up to 10 and hit the 5 card straight flush

Bonsai Teppanyaki

We chose this Specialty restaurant for the evening as we left Mazatlán.  It was a great dinner and very good performance rolled into one super night.  There were two other couples besides us and the conversation was very good all round.  For the 30 dollar upcharge it was well worth the cost in my opinion.  The Chef was a master and put on a good performance.  One of the persons was a vegetarian and he made sure to cook all of their portions first before adding any meat onto the grill.  The portions are huge and the appetizers leading up to the main course help to whet your appetite.  Everyone gets the same appetizers and desserts(8 different kinds) and you choose your main dish.  For this event I chose shrimp and filet mignon.  A very good option or break from the Steakhouse if you like Japanese cuisine.

So glad to see a review of the Teppanyaki restaurant, we will be going one evening on our upcoming April cruise.  So excited!
