Carnival Sunshine Boarding time??

So i leave in like 18 days and I am wondering what is a typical time to show up at the port for boarding??? I am priority so I was thinking 10/ 1030???

They won't let you into the parking lot until the previous sailing cruisers are out.  We, too, were priority.  We got there around 11:00, parked, and were in the terminal preparing to be transported to the ship within minutes.

We were on the Sunshine December 3rd.  I had read not to arrive at the port before 10:00.  We got there about 10:15 and the gates were not open yet.  We got our car in the line and the gates opened about 10:30.  Paid to park, dropped our luggage, checked in, transported to ship - we were on the ship by 11:15.
