No deal/OBC from TA

I have used a small, local, brick and mortar TA for all but one cruise.  He has never given us wine, OBC, or anything else other than great service.

I strayed to a recommended PVP one time because my TA started mumbling about retiring.  He's my age so I took him very seriously.

The PVP experience was less than stellar so I went back to my TA.

He does price adjustments happily, at no charge, even though he loses commission.  Though he got zero commission he helped my granddaughter with overseas air arrangements twice.  He recently spent over an hour convincing Carnival to help us with an issue caused by Carnival cancelling a cruise were had booked.  He prints our boarding documents because I have no way to do so.

Even though he finally closed his business location he kept his license and what he referred to as "a few valued customers".  I am lucky to be in that group.

There's nothing wrong with any of the booking methods but my TA fits me the best.
