Does any cruise line have a cruise that will have The ship in Tokyo during the games?  I know one of the Princess ships has been rented by a private company but I am looking to see if a cruise line has the same opportunity.

as a normal port stop?  you'd have to see  if there are any scheduled  for those dates based on ports of call.  closest of which is Yokohama.  which is still an hour away by train .

I would imagine, however, that the cost would be  much higher than any other comparable cruise over the same time period in a non olympic year.

Just did a quick check.  Olympics scheduled to run 7/24 - 8/9.  Spectrum of the Seas has 2 cruises, first with an overnight call 7/29 - 7/30 and the next 8/6 - 8/7.  Specific port is Tokyo (Harumi).  Diamond Princess originates/ends in Tokyo (Yokohama) 7/27 - 8/4.  Norwegian Spirit originates/ends in Tokyo (Yokohama) 7/28 - 8/11.  Hope this helps.

Not quite correct.

There are now two main cruise terminals in Tokyo. In a few months there will be three:

The furthest away from Tokyo is Osanbashi Terminal in Yokohama.

Minatomirai Subway Line’s nearest Station is Nihon-Odori, about a 5 minute walk from the Terminal. Express train from Nihon-Odori to Shibuya Station in Tokyo is 29 minutes, costing 450 yen. Nihon-Odori to Shinjuku Station in Tokyo is 35 minutes, 470 yen.

Closest Tokyo Cruise Terminal is Harumi Pier, located across the Sumida River from downtown Tokyo. The new Toyosu Fish Market is a 10 minute walk in one direction. Ginza is a 20 minute walk in the other direction. The nearest subway station is Kachidoki, on the O-Edo line, about 5 minutes by bus from the port. The new Olympic Village is nearly completed around the Harumi Pier. Only ships small enough to fit under the Rainbow Bridge can call at Harumi Pier.

The newest Tokyo Cruise Terminal, Shinkyaku, will be completed in a few months, near Odaiba, at the end of the Rainbow Bridge, just North of Haneda Airport. There is a subway station just outside the gate of the terminal. Shinkyaku Terminal to Nihonbashi Station takes about 15 minutes via subway. Three large cruise ships will be parked there during the Olympics for additional housing.
