Just got off the Star 2 days ago. I did see a few ceiling leaks which I attributed to condensation from the AC. I did not see any mold anywhere and the ship is in reasonable shape for one going into drydock a in afew weeks. Could use a paint job however:-)

Who is the maitre'd on the Star right now? Did anyone recently have anytime dining? Just wondering if the lines were long as on other Princess ships.

I am afraid that this is the trend. Much to my dismay, the choices in the

libraries are very poor, virtually non-existent. An new ships really do not

have libraries anymore (this includes other cruise lines). 

We come very supplied with books on our Kindles.

P.S. And if there is a library... if you do not go there IMMEDIATELY

upon boarding, everything is gone or very picked over.
