Does Carnival offer "Meet & Mingles"

Any CruiseCritic "get togethers" on Carnival have to be arranged by us in the appropriate "Roll Call". CCL doesn't schedule anything. That's also the case for most cruise lines

DM, I feel sure you're asking not about Cruise Critic gatherings, but Meet-and-Mingles in general on ships?

 

Looking at a copy of the Capers, I see that they had one scheduled on my last cruise (Paradise in November). I didn't attend, but it was announced - time and place - to be if anyone wanted to attend. Just look for the announcement in your copy of the Capers. (In this case, it was the afternoon of the second day on board.)

As well, there will usually be a singles get together the first or second night it seems in one of the lounges or the disco if that's what you're looking for. I've heard varying reviews about it- sometimes lots of people, sometimes none.

I was talking about a "Cruise Critic" gathering. I last sailed on a Royal Caribbean ship and providing you had a certain number of people sign up, the cruise line hosted a very simple party for the CC members. I didn't know if Carnival did the same.

 

I did sign up on the roll call board, but so far I'm the only one.

They do not. It is a contractual arrangement between CC and RCI.

I was surprised that there hadn't been a roll call started already for my sailing. Maybe I'm in for one heck of an upgrade!

On the Valor last sept. they opened a lounge and bar for our group of CC'ers just call Carnival and ask....Dennis
