Info On Luggage Tags At Pier??

Hello again-If we use the luggage tags at the pier, what info do we put on them? Can we get them ready before we get to the pier to make it quicker. Any info/help here is much appreciated. You cruisers are the best!!:D

Your luggage tags will be part of the documents you receive in the mail. UNLESS you get e-docs, then the porters who take your bags at the port of embarkation will have blank tags, and ask to see your e-docs, and put your cabin information on those tags.

YIKES! :eek: RCCL said we didn't actually need the e-docs....They said to just get the tags at the pier?

You need your SeaPass for checking in but as far as luggage tags, just have the sample page with you. You need to fill in your cabin number, and the locater info, date of sailing and ship. The sample should have all of that info there for you. Make sure you have a pen, a Sharpie would be best, because they don't have any for you to use. Fill out the tags, put them on your bags and you're off!

I know they told you you don't need them but you might want to have the e-docs with you just in case. Keep them in your carry-on with your Sea Pass printout. Have a great week.

There is a desk outside the building where the porters are. They will check the manifest and put the correct tags/cabin number on your luggage. No need to worry!

Take a wide point Sharpie so it will be easier for the people on the ship delivering the bags to your room.:)

Just to make things easier, I always securely tape a small sticky note with the cabin number on it to the top of the bag.

 

With cars and buses coming and going, it's a lot easier than yelling your cabin number 10 times, and no one has to look for the cabin number.
