Card color, just curious

Just curious, not that it really matters to me, but we have 20 cruising days (currently "Red" status), but we are taking a 5 day cruise in April.  Looks like we will hit "Gold" during that cruise.  Will we get Red sign and Sail cards or Gold?

If you hit the level during the cruise, your card will be gold. Check your boarding pass, it should tell you what your VIFP level will be.

Cards go blue, red, gold, silver (platinum) and white (diamond).  If anyone achieves their next level anytime during a cruise, Carnival will give them the higher level card.

Yep, that's what happened to us- we turned gold during our last CCL cruise and received the gold card at embarkation.
