JandS515 Posted January 29, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2020 Hello! We will be spending the day of our 5 year anniversary in Barbados and are looking for a great experience to celebrate the day. We would love to find a glass-bottom boat excursion/tour that doesn't necessarily include snorkeling. We'd love to see the turtles (our fave) and other sea life, but we both have anxieties about snorkeling. I am considering making reservations at Harbour Lights on Carlisle bay, since it appears their snorkeling boat is glass-bottom. But are there any other companies I can book? In Bermuda we took a 3-4 hour boat tour that was open-air on top with some sight-seeing, and then we stopped over several locations to view from the glass-bottom. This included some drinks and island history as well and was very affordable. Would love to repeat something like that! Thanks in advance for any suggestions!! Aplmac Posted February 5, 2020 #2 Share Posted February 5, 2020 At either Harbour Lights or at Boatyard you will have some sort of access to glass-bottom boat/s in Carlisle Bay either paid-for or additional expense -since both beach hangouts are on Carlisle Bay. Other place for glass-bottom boats is HOLETOWN -about halfway up the West Coast! That's pretty much where glass-bottom boating started many decades ago now. These pics taken on the West Coast -near Holetown
