Cnote74 Posted January 31, 2020 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2020 (edited) Looking for feedback/suggestions on room selection. we are going on a 10 day cruise out of Fort Lauderdale on Reflection in November. currently we have rooms 8139 and 8181 which have a cabin between us. These rooms are toward the front of ship. we have an option to move to 8323 and 8321 which is towards the back of ship and is a connecting room. we are new to cruises and we thought having a connecting room would be good for kids (4,8) to be able to go back and forth with grandparents in the other room instead of having to go outside the rooms. Any drawback to move to the back and/or having connecting rooms from personal experience? Does anyone know if the balcony divider on connecting rooms can be opened to have a larger balcony space? any feedback is appreciated. Rare mahdnc Posted January 31, 2020 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2020 (edited) The balcony divider can be opened up between any adjacent cabins regardless of whether they are marked as connecting cabins or not. I would definitely go for the connecting cabins since you have little kids. The location of those cabins are fine. diamondintn Posted January 31, 2020 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2020 Hubby and I prefer the aft cabins, not a lot of back and forth traffic. We enjoy the quiet.
