Just a thought - we leave the same cruise on April 20 and fly out of NRT that afternoon.  We decided to head directly to the airport and drop our bags after disembarking, then spend a few hours in the town of Narita.  It apparently has a nice temple and it's famous for unagi, which we both like.  Transport between the town and airport looks easy and the temple is a short walk from the station along a street lined with shops.

Very true about Narita. Been there many times and it is charming and worth a stop. We, however, are flying out of Haneda in the evening and wish Cunard would have a Tokyo tour and airport drop-off. Not listed yet on their website, and with 58 days to go - I hope it's soon!

And I hope it happens, period - the cruise, I mean.  I’m a little worried about reports of COVID in Japan that might lead Cunard to cancel.  Although there’s still plenty of time to get it under control to everyone’s satisfaction.
